Some recommendations were issued :

2- Need for FTAs to strike a balance between the different interests of the parties especially on the issue of undisclosed data Protection secrets, extension of patent life, “Trips Plus Provisions”, “Non Material” and “Cultural Diversity”.

3- Urgency of raising the competitiveness of Developing Countries increasing their role in research and development activity to enhance their role in the Global Economy. To this end, the role of the State was emphasized in the field of research and development and enforcement of different laws.
